Good Measures asks for some information on the proportion of products that are certified or come from socially audited factories. In all of these cases if the precise amount isn’t available, please report to the nearest tenth. Note that you will need to indicate publicly accessible evidence that verifies the information you provide on these proportions. Learn more about evidence requirements here.
You may have different ways of tracking such metrics internally such as by season, reporting year, what’s currently in production, or what’s currently available for sale. We recommend reporting product proportions for a selection of products over a 12 month period and not anticipated production. Most brands determine the proportion of products certified by the total volume of products purchased in the reporting period. For example, if 20% of the total volume came from a factory with a relevant certification, you would state that 20% in the relevant Certifications and Labour Risk issue in Good Measures.
